The Fulton

In the 1980’s Jean-Georges Vongerichten first visited the Fulton Fish Market in lower Manhattan.

Fast forward several decades, with the partnership of Howard Hughes Corporation, he had the opportunity to helm Seaport’s initiative to revive the historic area.

The identity for this waterfront restaurant with sweeping views of the Brooklyn Bridge was inspired by oceanic treasures. With romantic and subaquatic undertones, everything from the custom-penned logotype to the aqueous watercolor washes serves as an homage to the beauty and mystery of the sea.
